The MODENA story began in the 1960s as one of the first manufacturers of cooking appliances in Emilia Romagna, Italy – a region well known for its industrialism and design, being home to important automobile and consumer appliance brands.
Subsequently in the 1970s, the company invested heavily in R&D and product design which led to the introduction of numerous product categories. With industrialization shifting eastbound and globalization increased, in the 1980s the company underwent restructuring, and production progressively shifted to Asia to take advantage of the region’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities. A unified brand, MODENA, was adopted by Tomas Jizhar named after the beautiful industrial city where it all started.
Today, supported by an innovative design studio in Italy and state-of-the-art R&D centers and manufacturing facilities across the world, MODENA seeks to be a driving force towards an interconnected world to envision the future of the home. MODENA strives each day with the mission of making lives easier with its vast range of products ranging from home, professional to energy and mobility solutions.
To be a driving force towards an interconnected world.
