Easy Ways to Maintain Your Water Purifier at Home

Water Purifier, also known as Reverse Osmosis (RO), provides a variety of benefits that can make your life easier than ever. Its ability to produce hygienic water that is free of germs, viruses, and harmful chemicals is considered convenient for today's lifestyle. Giving your Water Purifier the proper maintenance is necessary to make sure it always works at its best. Check out these tips to find out the right way to take care of your Water Purifier!

First thing first, unplug the unit from the power source

It is essential to remove the power cord of your water purifier from the socket whenever you’re cleaning. This will prevent any risk of electrocution or the unit shorting out during the cleaning process.

Avoid using chemicals

Wipe the outside of the dispenser using a clean, wet cloth. It is better to avoid using chemicals, as they may affect the quality of the water produced by the purifier. Once you're done cleaning the outside, wipe it down with a dry cloth to prevent water from entering the machine.

Change the RO filter regularly

RO filters should be replaced every 6 months to a year, depending on the filter type, the water quality, and the amount of water consumed. It is important to change the filters regularly to make sure your Water Purifier continues to work properly. But if you are feeling unsure about the right time to change the filter, you can always contact our technician for more information and support.

Schedule an annual expert visit

Although you can clean most parts of the Water Purifier yourself, the inner parts like the pipes, water tubes, and heating elements still require professional cleaning at least once a year to avoid any damage to the machine. Don’t worry, you can schedule an appointment with our technicians anytime to help you with the maintenance.
