Your Washing Machine Needs Cleaning Too!

We all know the importance of having a washing machine in our homes, so we better take really good care of it to make sure that it will run for a long time! Let’s look at some simple tips below that you can try to clean your MODENA Washing Machine:

1. Clean the detergent drawer

First, remove the detergent drawer from its place by pressing the latch and pull the drawer together. Clean the drawer with water and wipe with a dry cloth. Remember not to use any cleaning solution to clean the drawers. Then, rinse the drawers and suction by placing them under warm water and then wipe them using a dry cloth.

2. Clean the pump filter

Clean the pump filter regularly. Place a container or cloth under the filter cover to collect the remaining water. Remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise and pull it out, then rinse the filter with water.

3. Clean the water inlet filter

Clean the water intake filter regularly or if the water filling time takes too long. Close the water tap then remove the water intake hose by removing the screw in the opposite direction of the rotation. Clean the filter on the back of the washing machine with a soft brush and then rinse with water.

4. Clean the washer’s drum with the Drum Cleaning program

Remember that dirt and detergent may gather on the unit and may cause unpleasant odors to your clothes. To avoid this, use the Drum Cleaning program. If you don't have the program, use Cotton-90 and select the Additional Water or Extra Rinse function. Place up to 100 g of anti-scale powder into the main washing detergent compartment. When finished, dry with a clean cloth.
