MODENA for Women: A Night Full of Celebration and Cupcakes

MODENA Experience Center Suryo was filled with laughter and cheers on Thursday evening, March 17th, as one of the guests, Patricia Gouw shouts in excitement as the MC announced the winner for the best cupcake decorating competition as part of last night’s event, MODENA For Women.

In the spirit of International Women’s Day back on March 8th, MODENA celebrates what it means to be a woman while also acknowledging the trials and tribulations that women experience daily, especially in the working place. This time, the invites range from those who excel in various industries, from fashion, architecture, lifestyle, to technology.

Led by the charismatic and lively Carina Meidiana as MC, it was a night filled with celebration shared among friends and peers. “We are very excited to host our very own Woman’s Day celebration this year. It is our first time to have an event like this and having such notable names to come here and celebrate with us is truly an honor,” said Tommy Pratomo, as Head of Corporate Communication of MODENA. “We want to celebrate women from all kinds of backgrounds, and here at MODENA we always strive and support gender equality and always look for ways to support women in everything they do.”

Last night’s event was also hosted by Ayla Dimitri, the social media influencer and former fashion stylist and editor. The 35-year-old fashion enthusiast was joined by Nicole Jizhar, the Executive Vice President of MODENA, and shared their experiences working in such different industries as women leaders. The sharing session highlights how they can promote gender equality in their working place and how women should be able to do or become whatever they want, including leaders. “Gender has nothing to do with leadership, no matter if you are a woman or man, a leader is a leader,” presses Ayla.

Michelle Hendra (@michimomo), Patricia Gunawan (@patgouw), Ucita Pohan (@uchiet), and Maria Vega (@mariavega.artanti) are some of the names that were present at the event. The night continues with a cupcake decorating competition and ends with an exclusive 3-course meal dinner prepared by Chef Christo.
